Toddler Program (ages 14 months to 3 years)
Toddlers are eager and joyous learners. Their naturally inquisitive minds drive them to explore and make countless discoveries over the course of the day. They “learn by doing”. Our Toddler program provides an optimal learning environment for the development of language, movement, social skills, and independence.
The Practical Life aspect of the program helps them care for themselves and their environment. They care for plants, clean spills, sweep, dust, and maintain the environment that is their “children's house.” They learn self help skills such as buttoning, zipping, and choosing which clothes to wear according to the weather.
The Sensorial area emphasizes acquisition of skills utilizing all sensory input: listening, touching, smelling, observing and tasting. Each exercise isolates a sense or quality such as length, volume, or weight. This, in turn, allows children to refine their senses to take in more information through them.
Language acquisition is one of the most critical aspects of toddler development. We provide an array of language activities, games, and conversations to lay a strong foundation for both receptive and expressive communication. This is enhanced by music and movement activities daily.
The Mathematical mind emerges through manipulation of material, art activities, exploring elements of physics, developing precision of hand control, and sensory integration and balance through movement and music.
We offer a fully prepared Montessori environment tailored to the individual needs of our students.
Before school and after school care is available on a space available, prepaid voucher system.
