Welcome to Our Community!
Apple Valley Montessori School is an independent, co-educational, Montessori day school in Sudbury, Massachusetts serving children ages 15 months through 12 years. Our bright, beautiful classrooms are led by teachers who are all trained by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
Our Toddler, Primary and Elementary Programs are based on the authentic philosophy and work of Maria Montessori. By nurturing the development of the whole child's readiness, interests, and learning style, the education at AVMS fosters each child's positive self-image, problem-solving skills, and ability to make choices in an academically challenging environment.
Apple Valley was founded in 1983 by the Newton family with the purpose of offering an educational environment that puts the needs of children at the heart of its programming. Providing the highest-quality Montessori education for over 30 years, Apple Valley continues this work today, with all adults working in partnership to provide each child with opportunities to develop and grow according to his or her individual needs. The classroom environments are beautiful and inviting, where choice, creativity, collaborative learning, and problem solving are encouraged.
